Alicia is an New Orleans native and fitness has always been a part of her life at an early age as a standout Track athlete. Alicia was first introduced to Pilates by a friend and immediately recognized the abundant health benefits Pilates provided. Pilates has been a life changing experience for Alicia as she experienced after each sessions the mind- body connection and increased core strength. This was something she wanted share this with others. Alicia decided to start the process and apply to become an instructor. Through hard work and dedication in 2013 she became Comprehensively certified through Balance Body in all apparatus . She continued on with her studies and in 2015 became Comprehensively certified in all apparatus with Power Pilates completing over 1500 hours of studying, training, teaching, and observation hours.
Alicia teaches with enthusiasm and positive energy, She loves to share her experience of movement and attention to detail in her group classes and privates sessions. Her mission is to use the principles of Pilates to help clients find strength, flexibility, and a healthy body while making Pilates innovative, challenging and fun! Clients can expect a fun approach to their practice while they improve body awareness, develop and improve core strength, and provide a feeling of overall wellness. Alicia loves to workout and prepare vegetarian dishes.
