Cassie Austin has been practicing Pilates in bits and pieces for most of her life. In the context of her ballet training, she found her best and most aligned days happened after she had warmed up with a Pilates class. Years later, while keeping up with the rigorous show schedule of a Broadway production on tour, her physical therapist prescribed Pilates movement to rehabilitate and prevent injury. Maintaining a Pilates practice has drastically changed the way her body feels and moves onstage or off. She completed Core Mat certification at the Power Pilates flagship location in NYC at the start of 2021 and can’t wait to help you sweat and smile on the mat sometime soon.
