Florrie Sese Geller has practiced Pilates since she was a ten-year old pre-professional ballet student. Her teacher, a former ballerina, emphasized the importance of a strong core, long lean muscles, and proper alignment. The strength, flexibility and body awareness Florrie acquired through consistent Pilates training were components that helped Florrie distinguish herself in international ballet competition. She performed on the Lincoln Center stage at the Youth America Grand Prix Final Round, winning a top twelve position among hundreds of young dancers from all over the world and the 1st Gillian Murphy Scholarship. At the age of 18, Florrie had already earned a scholarship to the prestigious San Francisco Ballet School, and was subsequently awarded a full company contract to Cincinnati Ballet. She was noted for her soloist performances in The Sleeping Beauty and Jiri Kylian’s renowned Sechs Tanze. Florrie represented the United States at the invitation of the Beijing International Ballet and Choreographic Competition in 2019. Florrie is eager to teach dancers and fitness enthusiasts of all ages, who wish to become their best selves.
