Melissa Picard is a trained dancer with over 25 years of experience in tap, jazz, ballet, modern and lyrical, but she fell in love when she started taking hip hop classes. Over the course of her dance career, she began to concentrate on hip hop and other street style dances. Melissa has created dance programs for day camps, dance studios, and private clients across New York and in NYC. Most recently, she has turned her focus to include health & wellness. After losing over 40 pounds, she now incorporates dancing into her weekly fitness routine. Her passion is in all levels of dance but she is particularly fond of beginner level routines where she has the opportunity to allow students to add their own unique style to her routines. Melissa is able to provide instruction to a wide variety of dancers and levels in her classes.
