Christina Iervoline discovered her passion for Yoga through studying the Theatre Arts. Spirituality grew deeper as she dove internal to explore herself through this budding craft. Christina soon discovered that what she loved most about the stage was one among many of the same reasons she fell in love with Yoga; both are truly beautiful ways to deeply impact the beings of the world with spreading healing, loving compassion, and joy. Transitioning from vegetarian to vegan in 2007 only intensified her journey of overall inner to outer health and wellness.
Christina received her Bachelors of the Arts from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (her home state) in 2011 and moved to New York City just before 2013. Her first 200-hour Yoga intensive training was in 2012 at 3rd Street Yoga in Pittsburgh. She recently received a 200-hour intensive certification from Atmananda Yoga Sequence NYC. At Power Pilates (NYC), she studied beginner mat and received continuing education in Magic Circle, Intro to Apparatus, and Pilates on the Ball. She also developed a Pilates-Yoga fusion class, which Harbor Fitness (BK) named, "Pi-Yo". Christina also actively studies Astrology and is eager to incorporate clients' personal birth charts into their Yoga practice; aligning the inner with the outer, and physical with celestial and spiritual. Christina combines free-flowing expansion with powerful root-stabilizers into her sessions; all carried/sustained by cultivating the steadfast winds of our vital life force called Prana, or breath. "Let your Shakti rise from the base of your spine. First it will heal you, then it will heal the world."
