Agata was born and raised in Gdansk, Poland, and moved to NYC to pursue her education in Art History. While expecting her first child, she swerved from the path of an academic career, and ultimately decided to re-invent herself. Pilates proved a natural next step. Since being first introduced to the method in 2005, she fell in love with it. She continued her recreational practice, on and off, then inspired by the lack of satisfying Mommy and Me classes in her area, decided to pursue a career as a Pilates instructor herself. As a new mom, she wanted to be part of an optimistic, family-friendly, healing, and happy environment, as well as carry her newfound passion over to others. Although she certified in 2012, she has been actively teaching during the past 5 years. Agata especially enjoys working with expecting and new moms, active older clients as well as men! She is a firm believer that "real men do pilates", and that all men should do pilates!. She lives in Brooklyn, near the beach, with her family and their two cats.
