This stretch and relaxation class will help you to de-stress from a long work week and go into your weekend relaxed. Starting with a 25 minute stretch, while breathing deep into the muscles groups. Targeting areas that hold tension and stress. Great to lengthen tight muscle groups like neck muscles, back muscles and leg muscles. Then continuing on to the relaxation portion of the class for 25 minutes. While laying on the floor on yoga mats all is required is focus, deep breathing, and just relax. This section incorporate elements of meditation and a technique called Feldenkrais. Feldenkrais is a technique which is claimed to reorganize connections between the brain and body and so improve body movement and a psychological state. The entire class is accompanied by relaxing music and nature sound to help calm the brain and focus, as well as scented candles to build a relaxing atmosphere.
