Amanda completed her professional dance training at the Ailey School, where she also found a deeper connection to her personal Pilates practice. Throughout her career as a dance teacher and choreographer, she has seen the infinite benefits of Pilates, from improved strength and flexibility, to recovery and injury prevention. After fifteen years of teaching, Amanda began her apprenticeship with Power Pilates. As a dance and fitness professional, she aspires to share her passion for movement in such a way that it is accessible to all bodies, and all fitness levels. Amanda believes that moving your body is essential to overall health and well-being. Her classes provide a comfortable and upbeat environment where clients feel safe to explore moving in space. Amanda believes that it is crucial to preserve a connection to the fundamental structure of classical methodologies in order to provide clients with a strong platform from which they may expand.
